Hope Recovery Homes, Inc., is a Twenty-four-hour nonprofit stabilization facilities established for the purposes of shelter care and recovery from alcohol or other drug addiction through a 12-step, self-help, and peer role modeling approach.
At Hope Recovery Homes, Inc., we operate alcohol and drug free transitional residences (Recovery Homes) which foster and promote individual growth and the restoration of meaningful, productive, and spiritual lives. We rely heavily upon the individual’s expressed commitment and dedication to recovery.
During that time our residents are kept on a very busy schedule, which they are expected to maintain.
Attend classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient (SAIOP)
In the afternoon hours until 4pm they attend various classes for AA, 12 Steps and faith based studies.
Tuesday and Thursday they are in session from 9am – 4pm.
When not in session residents have free time to do something fun such as fishing or bike riding; residents are also encouraged to rebuild relationships with their families.
While in our program residents apply for assistance through DSS for food and are responsible for their own meals. Very often they will take turns preparing a meal and eat together as a “family”
Staff is available 24/7 . We have a House Supervisor or Peer Support Specialist that lives in each residential home to give guidance and stabilization to those participating in the program.
For the first three months each guest will attend classes daily to learn about their addictive disease. They do not look for employment during this time, therefore they are able to focus on their studies and learn how to overcome their disease.
At one and one half to two months they are encouraged to enroll with Work Force Solutions office and Vocational Rehabilitation Office so that they can begin the process of learning what may be available for them as they will transition back into the working population at approximately month four of the six month program.
During the last three months they are looking for employment so that at the end of their stay they are prepared to make a transaction into the reality of day to day living.
Our Program is a Faith-Based, Stabilization Program of Recovery providing assistance, support and fellowship to adults recovering from the ravages of drug and alcohol addiction.
We partner with Carteret Counseling Services so that participants may receive clinical assistance as well. The program length is approximately 180 days.
